Learning Objectives : By the end of the lesson learners will be able to :
i. Define Morals
ii. Identity values that show good moral.
Content :
Values that show good morals in the society.
What iis moral? This refers to good or bad Behaviour, fairness, honesty that we believe in.
Values that shows good moral are :
- Respect for the elders
- Do not fight
- Do not tell lies
- Help people in need
Some other good morals in the society :
i. Do not cheat others.
ii. Avoid stealing
iii. Be loyal
iv. Be respectful
v. Be trustworthy
vi. Do not gossip
vii. Be truthful
viii. Develop positive attitude
ix. Self – control
x. Be contented.
Bad moral values that should be avoided in the society are stealing, fighting, lying, smoking, bullying, gossiping, cheating and lateness to school.
Consequences of bad morals.
Bad morals can lead to the following :
- Punishment
- Imprisonment
Presentation Steps :
Step 1: The teacher revises the previous lesson with the learners by asking them questions orally.
Step 2: He introduces the new lesson to the learners by defining morals
Step 3: Identify and mentions values that shows good morals in the society.
Step 4: State some bad morals we should avoid.
