An Adjective is a word that describes a noun or a pronouns. It tells us more about a noun or a pronoun.
Examples of adjectives are small, beautiful, tall, clean, fat, sweet, hot, clear, much cold, ten, five, etc.
Types of adjectives.
There are several types of adjectives. These are :
1. Colour Adjectives
2. Number Adjectives
3. Adjective of Quality
4. Adjective of Quantity
5. Demonstrative Adjectives
6. Possessive Adjectives
Some adjectives show what belongs to someone or something. They are called Possessive adjectives. Examples are: my, his, her, its, my, their, our, etc.
