Content :
An adjectives is a word which qualifies a noun or pronoun. It describes a noun or tell us more about a noun.
Examples: black, long, tall, beautiful, round, rich, blue, slim, red, etc.
Types of adjectives
1. Adjectives of number : one, six, seventh, third, second, etc.
2. Adjectives of Colour : blue, red, black, yellow, green, pink, etc.
3. Adjectives of quality : big, gentle, long, rich, beautiful, etc.
Identify the adjectives in the following sentences and write them out.
1) I have a black dog. = black
2) She has a long ruler. = long
3) Our father is a tall man. = tall
4) He planted a beautiful flowers. = beautiful
Presentation Steps :
Step 1 : Revises the previous lesson with the learners by asking them questions orally.
Step 2 : Introduces the new topic by defining adjectives and give several examples.
Step 3 : The teacher explains the types of adjectives with examples. Identify the different types of adjectives in sentences
