Previous Knowledge: Learners have been taught water, it sources and uses
Content:
Air is a mixture of gases. Air can be found everywhere around us.
Air moves around us. Moving air is called breeze or wind.
A slow moving cool air is called breeze while a fast heavy air is called Wind.
Uses of Air
Below are the uses of air
1. Air sustain life and growth. e. g. Plants and animals
2. Air is used in generating electricity (Wind mill)
3. Air is used to reduces heat.e.g breeze
4. Air is used for transportation.
Presentation Step:
Step 1: Review of the previous knowledge with the learners
Step 2: Introduces the new topic to the learners by asking, “what is Air?”
Step 3: He asks the learners to mention the some uses of air
Step 4: The teacher explains the types of air, wind and breeze.
