Behavioural Objectives : By the end of the lesson, learners will be able to :
i. Read and write the letters a – m
ii. Associate letters with objects.
Previous lesson: Learners are familiar with alphabets (letters).

Presentation Steps:
Step 1: The teacher revises the previous lesson with the learners
Step 2: He/ she introduces the new topic by reading the alphabet chart with objects to the learners and asks them to repeat after him/ her.
Step 3: The teacher then write out letter A to J and calls on the learners to associate it with objects one after the other.
Step 4: He/she then gives the learners some work to do in their textbooks.
Evaluation:
Match the letters to the correct objects.
Conclusion: At the end of the lesson, learners were able to answer the questions correctly.
Assignment:
Match the objects with the Uppercase letters to their correct Lowercase letters.
