Content :
A bomb is an explosive weapon that is used as an attack equipment on individual or group of people. It is very dangerous.
Bomb explosion is the sudden release violent energy within the environment which destroys or affects lives and properties.
Causes of Bomb Explosion
The causes of bomb explosion are :
- Natural Occurrence : This is when there is bomb explosion which is not caused by anyone.
- Protection and Defence : This is when a bomb is used during war by military as a Defence against enemies.
- Seeking attention : This is used by terrorists, group of people involved in bandictory. It is used by boko haram group in the Northern part of Nigeria.
Effects of Bomb Explosion.
1. Destruction of life : Bomb explosion can lead to loss of life or serious injury
2. Destruction of properties : Bomb explosion leads to collapse of building and damage of properties due to the blast.
3. It causes burns : Bomb explosion usually result in fire outbreak which burns down buildings and even humans.
Presentation Steps :
Step 1 : The teacher revises the previous lesson with the learners.
Step 2 : Introduces the new topic to the learners by asking them, “what is bomb?”
Step 3 : The teachers then explains bomb explosion and it causes.
Step 4 : Identify the effects of bomb explosions to the learners.
