Content :
Conjunctions are the joining words such as and, or , but , because , besides, as well as, etc.
They are used to join words, phrases, clauses and sentences together.
Examples :
1) Mr John is a doctor and his clinic is in the city.
2) Sophia is reaching here on Monday or Tuesday .
3)Miss Mary is beautiful but Miss Ruby is more beautiful.
4) Mr David missed the train because he was late
5) We want to get good marks so we work hard daily.
6) You cannot climb the mountain if you are afraid of heights
Presentation Steps :
Step 1 : Revises the previous Lesson with the learners.
Step 2 : Introduces the new topic by defining conjunctions and list several examples.
Step 3 : He / she then gives them sentences to identify the conjunctions.
