Content :
A constituted Authority is a person or group of persons that act on behalf of the people and are backed by law or constitution of the country.
Need for Constituted Authorities
1. Maintenance of law and order
2. Protection of right and dignity
3. Promote national unity
4. Run the society smoothly and assist in its development.
5. Represents the people in and outside the community
6. Provision of security for lives and property of members of the community
7. Provide social amenities like electricity, clean water, good roads, schools and hospitals, etc.
8. Educates the members of the community on various government policies.
Presentation Steps :
Step 1 : Revises the previous lesson with the learners by asking questions orally.
Step 2 : Introduces the new topic by explaining the meaning of Constituted Authority .
Step 3 : Identifies the need for Constituted Authority in the society.
