Content :
Introduction : Definition of Determiners
- Begin by explaining that determiners are words placed before nouns to give more information about the noun.
- They help to show whether the noun is specific or general, how many there are, or whose it is.
Types of Determiners:
- Articles: a, an, the
- Demonstratives: this, that, these, those
- Possessives: my, your, his, her, its, our, their
- Quantifiers: some, any, many, much, few, little, all, several
- Numbers: one, two, three, etc.
Examples:
- The cat is sleeping. (Article)
- This book is mine. (Demonstrative and Possessive)
- I have three apples. (Number)
- She has many friends. (Quantifier)

- Identify the determiners in given sentences.
- I. This is a big house.
- ii. The little boy has five toys.
- iii. I have an orange, an apple and a banana.
Fill in the blanks with suitable determiners :

iii. The young girl lost ___________ bag.
iv. ___________ are ________ friends for _________ years.
Create four sentences using different types of determiners.
