Content :
The Nigerian Armed Forces are armed forces of the federal Republic of Nigeria. It is the largest in West Africa.
Duties of Nigerian Army
1. Maintain peace in the country.
2. Prevent land related attacks.
3. Fight terrorists
The Nigerian Navy
The Nigeria Navy is a branch of the Nigeria forces. The force was founded in 1958.
Duties of the Nigerian Navy.
1. Prevent water related attack.
2. Maintain peace in the country.
3. Arrest oil theft and bunker.
The Nigerian Air Force.
The Nigeria Air Force was established in 1964. It is the air arm of the Nigerian armed forces.
Duties of the Nigerian Air Force
1. Maintain peace in the country.
2. Defend the country during war or crisis.
3. Prevent air or land related attacks.
Presentation :
Step 1 : The teacher revises the previous lesson learnt by asking questions orally.
Step 2 : Teacher introduces the new topic to the learners.
Step 3 : He / she lead the learner to identify each of the Nigerian Armed forces.
Step 4 : Asks the learned to mention some of the duties and year of establishment of each armed forces.
