i. Say simple meaning of fire safety

ii. Mention some prevention of fire

 

Previous Knowledge : Learners are familiar with fire.

 

Content :

Fire safety is the plan that is put in place to reduce fire out break.

Fire safety equipment that can be used t quench fire are :

1. Fire extinguisher

2. Fire blanket

3. Smoke detector

4. Water

5. Bucket of sand

 

Prevention of fire

1. Do not play with matches stick or candle .

2. Avoid playing with liquid like kerosene, petrol, diesel, etc.

Whenever there is fire outbreak, call the attention of people around you immediately .

 

Presentation Steps :

Step 1 : Review of the previous lesson with the learners.

Step 2 : Introduction of the new lesson by explaining fire safety

Step 3 : Identify and mentions some fire safety devices.
