Content:
Folk song is a traditional song made from the event that happen in the past.
Types of Folk song
1. Love song
2. Epic song
3. Lullaby song
Examples of folk song are:
i. Ìyá ni wúrà iye bí yẹ tí a kólé fò wora
Oloyun ni fò oṣù mẹsan, opon mi fò ọdún meta
Iya ni wúrà iye bí yẹ tí a kólé fò wora
ii. Imototo lọ le segun àrùn gbogbo
Imototo ilé, Imototo ara, Imototo oúnjẹ,
Imototo lọ le segun àrùn gbogbo
Presentation Step:
Step 1: Revision of the previous lesson with the learners orally.
Step 2: Introduces the new topic to the learners by saying the meaning of folk song.
Step 3: He/ she then mentions types of folk song and give examples
