Previous Knowledge : Learners are familiar with clearing their table after eating.
Content :
Food Hygiene means the safe way of preparing and storing food to prevent food poisoning.
Examples of food hygiene are as follows:
1. Wash your hands before and after eating.
2. Use spoon or fork to eat
3. Take a little food at a time and eat slowly.
4. Place a cup of water beside you when eating.
5. Clear the table after eating.
6. Wash the plates and spoons.
7. Always cover left over food .
Presentation Steps :
Step 1: The teacher revises the previous topic with the learners by asking questions orally.
Step 2: Introduces the new topic to the learners by explaining food hygiene.
Step 3: He/she then explains ways of maintaining food hygiene.
Evaluation :
