Content:
Footwear is a covering fir a person’s feet. They are worn on the foot for various reasons and there are different kinds of footwear that people use.
Examples of footwear are sandals, shoes, boot, trekkers, slippers, trainers, canvas, etc.
Socks and hoses are also worn on the foot before putting on shoes.
Importance of Footwear
i. They protect the feet feet germs
ii. They protect the feet feet sharp objects such as nails, broken bottle, pins, etc.
iii. They protect and keep the feet warm.
iv. They give beauty to the entire body.
Presentation Steps:
Step I: The teacher revises the previous topic with the learners.
Step II: He/ She introduces the new topic by describing footwear
Step III: Identifies and list examples of footwear
Step IV: States the importance of footwears
Evaluation: The teacher reviews the lesson by asking them some questions as follows:

2. List four kinds of footwear :
