Gender of Nouns.
Gender is the term used to show the sex of something.
Types of Gender.
There are four types of gender. These are :
1. Masculine Gender : This is the gender used for a male. Examples are boy, brother, uncle, father, son, hero, prince, etc.
2. Feminine Gender : This is the gender uses for a female. Examples of feminine gender are : girl, woman, mother, wife, aunt, daughter, princess, etc.
3. Common Gender : This is a noun gender used for both male and female. Examples are : child, baby, friend, teacher, doctor, adult, visitor, thief, relation, pupil, etc.
4. Neuter Gender : This is a noun used for things that has no life. They are neither male nor female. Examples of neuter gender are : bottle, table, chair, ruler, bag, coal, house, shoes, key, mat, plate, etc.
