Content :
Everyone likes their home to look clean and neat.
We need to clean our house daily to keep it neat, clean and fresh. When a house is well cared for, diseases and infection are reduced and the people in the house live in good health and comfort.
We need to clean our house daily for the following reasons:
1. To keep it clean and tidy.
2. To provide comfort, happiness and relaxation for the family.
3. To prevent the health of the family member.
4. To prevent the spread of diseases .
5. To keep the family house safe from household pests such as cockroaches, rats, bedbugs, etc.
Materials used for cleaning the house are :
Broom, brush, dust pan, mop stick and can, napkins, air freshener, moth ball, bleach (hypo), izal, dettol, pestox powder, etc.
Presentation Steps :
Step 1 : Revises the previous lesson with the learners by asking questions orally.
Step 2 : Introduces the new topic to the learners by explaining care of the house.
Step 3 : States the reasons for caring for the house.
Step 4 : Identify and list materials used for cleaning the house.
