Meaning of Living things.
Living things are things that have life. Examples of living things are plants, animals and human beings.
All living things have the following features and functions
1. They can move.
2. They can feed.
3. They can respond to changes in their environment. E.g. feel pains,
4. They can breathe.
5. They can grow
6. They can pass out waste from their bodies.
7. They can give birth to young ones.
8. They can die.
Presentation Steps :
Step 1 : The teacher introduces the lesson by asking the learners, ” what are living things?”
Step 2 : He / she mentions examples of living things.
Step 3 : The teacher then state the features of living things.
Evaluation :
