3.) An isosceles triangle has equal sides 10cm long and a base of 6cm long. Calculate the altitude (i.e. height) of the triangle correct to 2 decimal places.

5a. The angle of elevation of the top of a tree is 36°, the tree casts a shadow 42m long. How tall is the tree? ( tan 36° = 0.72645)
5b. From the top of a tower, the angle of depression of a man is 54°, find the distance between the man and the foot of the tower and 20m at the adjacent side. (tan 54° = 1.3763)
