Meaning of Civic Education.
What is Civic Education? Civic Education is a subject that deals with affairs, rights and duties of the citizens.
Civic education is a subject that teaches us to understand government and how they operates.
Why do we study Civic Education?
We study Civic Education because of the following reasons:
1. To know how government operates.
2. To know our rights and duties as citizens of a particular country.
3. To know how laws are enforced in the country.
4. To learn what happens when people break the laws.
Ways through which Civic Education can be important in Schools.
Civic Education is important in the school and at home because it enables us to know our rights as citizens.
Rights of a Child.
1. Right to movement
2. Right to shelter
3. Right to Education
4. Right to food
5. Right to freedom of religion.
Right of citizens
1. Right to obey the laws.
2. Right to pay taxes
3. Right to freedom of expression.
