Content :
Money is a legal tender used as a means of exchange for goods and services. In Nigeria, the currency used is Naira and kobo. The money comes in notes and coins.
The relationship between naira and kobo is 100 kobo = 1 naira.

CONVERSION INVOLVING UNITS OF MONEY
Note
100 k = 1.00
When changing kobo to Naira we divide the given amount by 100.
Examples :
1. 520k = 520/100 = N5.20k
2. 890k = 890/100 = N8.90k

Examples :
When converting Naira to kobo, we multiply by 100.
1. N8.00 = 8 × 100 = 800k
2. N17.50 = 17.50 × 100 = 1750k
or N8.00 = 800k
