Previous Knowledge : Learners have been taught the need for Constituted Authority .
Content :
Differences between National Symbols and Other symbols .
1. National symbols are for every everybody in the nation while other symbols are for only individual Organisation, group or association.
2. National symbols are official assets of a nation while other symbols are official properties of a particular Organisation.
National symbols are used as national identity by citizens outside the country, while other symbols are or may not be useful to citizens outside the country.
4. The national Symbols can exist for a long period of time but the other symbols can be changed at any time and do not exists for long.
5. Every citizen relates and obey the national symbols but only members of the Organisation, group or institution relates and obey the symbols.
Presentation Steps :
Step 1 : Revises the previous lesson with the learners by asking them questions orally.
Step 2 : Introduces the new topic by describe national symbols and other symbols and mentions examples
Step 3 : State the differences between national symbols and other symbols .
