Previous Knowledge : Learners are familiar with skip counting of Numbers.
Content :
Ordinal numbers are numbers that tells the position of a person or something in a series.
For example :
1 – First = 1st
2 – Second = 2nd
3 – Third = 3rd
4 – Fourth = 4th
5 – Fifth = 5th
Presentation Steps :
Step 1 : The teacher revises the previous lesson with the learners
Step 2 : He/ she introduces the new topic by explaining the meaning of ordinal number.
Step 3 : He/ she explains ordinal numbers using real objects or pictures for a better understanding .
