Previous Knowledge : Learners are familiar with values and types of values.
Content:
Civic values are those beliefs that members of community have. They are those attitudes or qualities which members of a community share or cherish as members of the same community.
Values can either be classified as good or bad.
Examples of good values are:
i. Loyalty
ii. Honesty
iii. Justice
iv. Obedience
v. Dedication
vi. Discipline
vii. Trustworthiness
viii. Openness
ix. Sincerity
x. Righteousness
Xi. Cleanliness
xii. Moderation
Need for Civic Values in Society.
Members of every society need to have and demonstrate good Civic value. The benefits of good civic values are :
i. Peace and harmony.
ii. Promotion of democracy.
iii. Promotion of human rights.
Presentation Steps:
Step 1: Revision of

Step 3: List several examples of Civic Values in the society.
Step 4: Classify the civic values into good and bad civic values.

Evaluation: The teacher examines the Pupils by asking the following questions :
