Learning Objectives : By the end of the lesson learners will be able to :

explain each of the Civic values.

Content :

Patriotism : This is the love of one’s country and the willingness to defend it.

Tolerance : This is the willingness to accept or tolerate somebody’s opinion or Behaviour.

Co-operation : This simply means doing something together or working together to achieve a common goal.

Honesty : This is the act of telling the truth at all times and not hiding the truth about something.

Self-reliance : This is the ability to do or decide on your own without support from anybody.

Presentation Steps :

Step 1: The teacher revises the previous lesson with the learners by asking them questions orally.

Step 2: Introduces the new lesson topic to the learners by identifying some values in which citizens must have.

Step 3: Explains and describe each of the values listed.
