CONTENT :
INTRODUCTION
Every Nigerian has rights, duties and privileges, which are provided for in the hundreds of laws that exist in Nigeria.
These rights are contained in Chapter IV of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and are officially known as Fundamental Rights.
RIGHTS OF A CITIZEN
1. Freedom of speech
2. Freedom of worship
3. Freedom of movement
4. Right to life
5. Right to dignity
6. Right person liberty
7. Right to fair hearing
Presentation Steps :
Step 1 : The teacher revises the previous lesson with the learners by asking questions orally.
Step 2 : He / she introduces the new topic by defining citizens
Step 3 : Identify and mentions where the fundamental human right can be gotten from.
Step 4 : State the fundamental human right of a Citizen.
Assessment & Evaluation:
1. State the meaning of Citizenship.
2. What qualify a person as citizen?\
3. State the right of a citizen.
CONCLUSION : Teacher goes over the topic once again for better understanding.
