Content :
Safety Rules in basketball is the guidelines on how to be free from danger during the game of basketball.
Some of the safety rules in basketball are :
1. Avoid bouncing the ball for long to avoid wrist pain
2. Be sure the partner is ready.
3. Proper warm up before attempting any events.
4. Avoid playing on wet or slippery ground.
5. Avoid throwing the ball with the intention of hitting your partner or opponent.
6. Avoid wearing over size or under size sport kits.
7. Throw ball gently to a partner.
Presentation Steps :
Step 1 : The teacher revises the previous lesson learnt with the learners
Step 2 : Introduces the new topic by explaining.
