Content :
The Sense of Sight.
The eye is an organ of sight. It is sensitive to light. Human being have a pair of eyes that is two eyes found in the socket of the skull. It helps us to see things around us.
Importance of the Eye.
1. It help us to see when reading.
2. It helps to see when writing.
3. It makes us work good.
4. It enable us to recognize the beautiful, colorful things around us.
5. It enable us to identify objects based on their Colours, shapes and sizes.
Parts of the Eye.
1. Eyeballs
2. Iris
3. Retina
4. Cornea
Presentation Steps :
Step 1 : The teacher revises the previous lesson with the learners by asking questions orally.
Step 2 : He /she introduces the new topic by describing the eye as an organ of sight.
Step 3 : Identify and list parts of the eye
Step 4 : Mention the importance of the eye.
Evaluation : The teacher evaluates the learners by asking the following questions:
1. What is the organ of sight?
2. Where is the eye situated?
3. How many eye do you have?
4. Mention Three importance of the eye.
5. Mention two parts of the eye.
