Behavioural Objectives: By the end of the lesson, learners should be able to:
i. Say the meaning of sharp objects
ii. Identify and mention some examples of sharp objects.
Previous Knowledge: Learners have been taught soil and are familiar with different types.
Content:
Sharp object is anything with a sharp point that can cause injury or death.
Sharp objects are objects that we must not play with. They are dangerous because they can cause injury to us as children.
Examples of sharp objects are:
1. Blade
2. Knife
3. Scissors
4. Broken bottles
5. Fork
6. Safety pin
7. Needle
8. Broom
Presentation Step:
Step 1: Review of the previous knowledge with the learners
Step 2: Introduces the new topic to the learners by asking, “what is sharp object ?”
Step 3: He / she asks the learners to mention some examples of sharp objects.
Step 4: The teacher then explains why we must not play with sharp objects.
