Content :
Meaning of substance.
Substances are those things we take into our body. They may be good or bad substances.
A substance may be an illegal drug that is taken which affects the body negatively.
Substance can be water, fruits, food and drugs taken into the body.
Examples of substances
1. Illegal drugs such as heroine, cocaine, Marijuana, Indian hemp, etc.
2. Food e.g. Soured food, not well cooked,
3. Fruits e.g. unripe fruits, rotten fruits
4. Water e.g. Dirty and contaminated water
Presentation Steps :
Step 1 : Revises the previous lesson with the learners by asking questions orally.
Step 2 : Introduces the new topic by explaining the meaning of substance.
Step 3 : Mention examples of the substances taken into the body.
Step 4 : Give examples of illegal drugs.
