Content :
Flowering plant are plants that have flowers and they are used mainly for beautification of things found around them. Flowering plants make the environment look beautiful because they add more beauty to the environment.
Examples of flowering plants are : hibiscus, morning glory, sun flower, Lilly,
Functions of Flowering Plant.
They are useful to man and his environment in a lot of ways. These include :
1. They are used for dying our fabric materials.
2. They are used for herb to make medication for people.
3. They are used for body decoration.
4. They are used to make perfume.
5. They are used to purify the air around our surroundings.
6. They are used as fence to guard the home.
Presentation Steps :
Step 1 : Revision of the previous lesson with the learners by asking questions orally.
Step 2 : Introduces the new topic by defining flowering plants and give examples
Step 3 : State some functions of flowering plant.
