Learning Objectives : At the end of the lesson learners will be able to :

Content : Types of Prayer
- Prayer of petition : This is a type of prayer whereby we present our needs before God. We pray for our immediate needs, asking God to do it for us as Christians.
- Praise and worship : In this type of prayer, songs are used as a means of prayer. We praise God and thank Him for all He has done, for what He is still going to do. Then, we sing songs to worship the King of kings, our redeemer, Arugbo Ojo, for Him to work signs and wonder, with dancing and playing. Psalm 100 is a Bible reference to prayer of Praise and worship.
- Prayers of Supplication : This is a form of prayer, wherein one party humbly or earnestly asks another party to provide something. Supplication is a request. In a supplication, the requester asks God for something from a place of humility and desperation—from an acute awareness of inferiority and need.
Presentation Steps :
Step 1 : Revises the previous topic with the learners by asking the questions.
Step 2 : Introduces the new topic by explaining the types of Prayers
Step 3 : Differentiate between the types of Prayer.
