i. Describe the use of Has and Have
ii. Give examples of Has and Have in sentences
Content :
Has and Have show present action in the perfect. Had shows past action.
Has is used for one person, animal, place, thing or pronoun.
Have is used for two or more persons, animals, places, things or pronouns.
The pronoun I and You takes the verb “Have”.
For examples :
1. The dog has fine furs.
2. The puppies have white furs.
3. Men have two legs.
4. Mr. John has black hair.
5. I have some money.
6. You have many books.
We use “had” to express an action completed already. It is called the past perfect tense.
We had good leaders in Nigeria before.
People had many traditional religions before Christianity
Bill Gate had money in his lifetime.
