Content :
Clothing is any material worn on the body to protect and make is look attractive.
The care clothes receives give the wearer a longer use of the clothing. Maintenance of clothes makes it durable.
For example, if a button falls off, it should be put back in place.
The following are some steps that are taken to take care and maintain our clothes:
1.) Air clothes to dry them when you take them off, in order to get rid of body odour and perspiration.
2.) There should be a clean space for storing clothes that we wear daily and separate them from clothes worn for occasions.
3.) Mend your clothes when the armpit or any other place gives way. Stitch them immediately.
4.) Fix any detached buttons
5.) If the colour fades, the clothes can be dye to make it colorful.
6.) The clothes that become too small for a big sister can be given out to a younger sister or a relation.
Presentation Steps :
Step 1 : Revises the previous lesson with the learners by asking them questions orally
Step 2 : Introduces the new topic by explaining the care given to our clothing.
Step 3 : List materials used in caring for our clothing and ways of caring for them.
