Content :
The Weather Chart
The weather can change often in a day. These weather changes can be recorded in a chart. Such a chart is called a weather chart. In the next activity, you will make a weather chart.
Preparing a weather chart and Materials Required
Your science notebook
Weather-measuring instruments such as
Thermometer – To measure the hotness or coldness of a place.
Wind vane – To measure the direction of the wind.
Rain gage – To measure the amount of rain fall.
Barometer – To measure relative pressure
Procedure
1. Observe the weather for one day.
2. Enter your findings into a table as shown below :

Step 1 : The teacher revises the previous lesson with the learners by asking them questions orally.
Step 2 : He / she introduces the new topic by explaining the weather chart.
Step 3 : Identify the materials needed for weather chart and the procedure used in recording weather chart.
Step 4 : The teacher guides the learners on how to record weather.
